The Leyend of

Alhambra

When the Marquis built this house, baroque style was the law — but here, he let his whims go too far.

Gossip has it that the exotic mudejar style of the Alhambra wasn’t inspired by devotion, but by a forbidden youthful love brought from Granada. They say every mosaic and carved arabesque in the latticework is actually a spell from al-Andalus, designed to preserve the essence of a passion as fleeting and colorful as the room itself.

If you look closely on nights with a full moon, the wooden patterns seem to rearrange themselves, searching for the owner of a silver brooch once forgotten in a chest — the only keepsake the Marquis dared to steal to honor a love that, like the secrets of the original Alhambra, could never be fulfilled. Think twice before ordering coffee at midnight; sometimes, the Marquesa’s passion still sits waiting.
